We’re committed to embedding environmental, social and governance principles across everything we do . From how we operate to how we support our clients in achieving their own ESG goals.

Creating new and improving existing habitats

Many species of fungi and fauna are dependent on woodland condition.

Sympathetic active management  which may include preserving ancient trees, leaving or utilising deadwood, or thinning to allow light to reach the woodland floor is essential to conserve and enhance biodiversity. Where appropriate we will also utilise the natural waste materials to build hibernacula to create habitats and nature highways and byways.

When working with these habitats, we focus on sympathetic and sustainable tools and techniques, living within environmental limits. This includes the prevention of needless fuel wastage, excessive use of pesticides and unnecessary atmospheric pollution from petrol-powered equipment. We achieve this through the use of hand tools and electric powered mowers and service tools where possible.

Our commitment to Environmental and Social Governance (ESG)

As an organisation we aim to do the right thing.

We are  passionate about  creating a positive, long-lasting impact regionally and nationally on the environment.

Sustainability is crucial to how we operate as a business and we are committed to accelerating the necessary changes to do the right thing for our people, stakeholders and the developments we manage.

We view sustainability as a spectrum – not just environmentally but across everything we do, including our ESG performance. We offer complete transparency when it comes to diversity, equality, carbon emissions and sustainability and always behave ethically and professionally.
